Product Description
Cartridge fuses are the "safety guards" of circuit systems, and the alumina ceramic tube serves as the armor, skeleton, and arc extinguishing chamber of this guard. Its performance directly determines the fuse's interrupting capacity, safety, and reliability.
The operating principle of a cartridge fuse is that when a current overload occurs, the internal fuse element (melt) melts and generates an arc, which ultimately extinguishes the arc and interrupts the circuit. The excellent insulation and arc resistance, high mechanical strength and impact resistance, and excellent thermal stability and thermal conductivity of the alumina ceramic tube (Al₂O₃) perfectly meet all the requirements of this demanding process.
