CNC Machining Workshop
After the ceramic green bodies undergo drying/curing and before entering the sintering furnace, the CNC Machining Workshop performs precision machining on the unsintered bodies. Leveraging the low hardness and good machinability of the green body at this stage, complex geometric structures are pre-formed efficiently, significantly reducing post-sintering machining costs and the risk of chipping/fracture.
CNC Machining Center
Used for high-precision,multi-process integrated machining of complex parts. Utilizes an Automatic Tool Changer(ATC)and multi-axis linkage control to complete milling, drilling, tapping, and other processes in a single setup.Technical Advantage :Positioning accuracy <=0.005mm, meeting micron-level tolerance requirements for aerospace engine components,medical implants,etc.
CNC Lathe
Used for precision turning and threading of rotary parts.Equipped with hydraulic chucks and C-axis driven tool turrets, supporting radial/axial compound cutting. Technical Advantage :Spindle runout <0.003mm, ensuring high coaxiality requirements for bearing sleeves , missile casings, etc.
Engraving Machine
Used for nanoscale micro-engraving of microstructrued ceramics. Equipped with air static pressure electric spindles and white light interferometry for online inspection.
Common Lathe
Used for the outer ring and end surface turning of the basic shafts and disc parts, relying on manual operation of hand-wheel feed. Technical advantage: Concise structure, low maintenance cost, suitable for flexible scenarios such as fixture maintenance and small quantity of prototype trial production.
The Two Stages of Ceramic Processing
Ceramic processing usually involves two stages: Rough machining and precision machining. Raw machining removes excess material to achieve approximate shapes and sizes, precision machining focuses on tight tolerance, smooth surface and detailed geometric shapes. They work together to ensure the processing efficiency and final product quality.
1. Rough machining process: efficient forming and excess control Core target: quickly remove 90% of the processing excess from the green body and avoid the risk of brittle fracture.
