Alumina ceramic threaded sleeves are a type of alumina ceramic pipe with precision threads machined on both the inner and outer walls. They combine the superior properties of alumina ceramic (wear resistance, corrosion resistance, high temperature resistance, and insulation) with the convenience of threaded connections. They are used in specialized applications where these characteristics are required but space is limited or frequent assembly and disassembly is required.

Alumina ceramic threaded sleeves offer the following performance advantages:
  • Extreme wear resistance: This is their core value. Ceramic threads resist abrasion from particulate matter, resulting in a lifespan far exceeding that of metal threads.

Because alumina ceramic threaded sleeves are a highly specialized component requiring extremely high machining precision, manufacturing is difficult and costly, and therefore they are only used in very specific and essential applications:

1. Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment:
They are used for connecting pipes transporting abrasive slurry in CMP (Chemical Mechanical Polishing) equipment. Zero metal contamination, wear resistance, and corrosion resistance are required. Threaded connections facilitate replacement and maintenance.

2. Photovoltaic Industry:
Transport piping connections in polysilicon and monocrystalline silicon raw material processing equipment also require high purity and wear resistance.

3. Analytical Instruments & Sensors:
Insulating protective sleeves for high-precision sensors or as sample gas delivery channels require threaded connections for sealing and securing.

4. Medical & Laboratory Equipment:
For example, these connectors are used in reaction devices and chromatographs that require high-temperature sterilization resistance (such as autoclaves), chemical corrosion resistance, and the elimination of metal ion precipitation.

5. Special High-Temperature Environments:
