Alumina ceramic discs are disc- or plate-shaped components made from high-purity alumina (Al₂O₃) ceramic material. They are produced by dry-pressing, isostatically pressing, or slip-casting fine alumina powder, followed by sintering at temperatures exceeding 1600°C.
The performance of alumina discs increases depending on the alumina content (e.g.,
95% or
99%). They can be simple
gaskets, high-precision grinding platforms, or insulating substrates.
